About Maksat

Maksat has been a pioneer in the field of Last Mile Wireless Deployment since the last 7 years. The company was founded by Mr Ankush Malhotra and Mr. Tarun Malhotra.

Mr. Ankush Malhotra is a B. tech in Computer Science with a specialization in Automation Systems Control and a wireless expert with experience of more than 8 years. He is a leading figure in the Wireless industry and part of WIFI and other related forums. He has been responsible for the development of state of art and hot-seller Pre-Wimax MAKSAT MMS range of products and newly launched WINDMAX series. He is also responsible for the development of MakSat’s range of Draft-N, Wimax 802.16e and MIMO soon to be launched range of products.

Mr. Tarun Malhotra is a B.Tech in design technology with an MBA from U.K. He has been responsible for the dynamic marketing strategies of MakSat and has made the MAKSAT brand very well know in the Wireless sphere and also developed sales channels. He was one of the few who presented the idea of Wireless Wide Area Networking (now known as SWAN) for State wide connectivity of districts to its villages using wireless as the last mile.

MakSat has deployed more than 2000 RF Microwave links and Base Stations all over the country for the Government and corporate sector.

MakSat has a Mission to develop and provide Innovative Communication Technologies and solutions. We are into Research and Development of Wireless Technologies. We are pioneering OFDM product development in India and providing the latest communication technology solutions to corporate and government. We are a leading Last Mile solutions provider using OFDM and the emerging new technologies.

Our leading edge wireless products represents over 7 years of intensive research in our laboratories, focused on Indian requirements and solutions specific to Indian environment. MakSat has also successfully demonstrated its products and technologies to the Indian Army and has been praised for its indigenously developed products and solutions.

MakSat has been awarded the contract for deploying SWAN (state wide area network) network for the state of Himachal Pardesh, connecting about 1000 remote locations together on wireless links.

MakSat is also deploying networks for CSC projects of the Government of Rajasthan connecting around 20 sites in a city to MakSat BTS in a radius of 20kms for 29 cities.

MakSat has also deployed India’s largest wireless network for Bajaj Hindustan Ltd. Covering an area spreading 1200kms and connecting all locations on wireless links, these links also include India’s longest point to point link of 75km. (network diagram attached inside)
